LiveScan V2 BETA is now available to users on Maintenance.

This is NOT the final production release. It is a BETA version and should be used for evaluation and small-volume use only this week.

Please do not move heavy production into V2 yet. We expect to find bugs, workflow issues, and edge-case problems as this version gets used in the field. That is the purpose of this release. We will use your feedback, bug reports, and real-world testing results to make corrections before the full production version is released.

Read This Before Using V2

• This is BETA
• Use it for testing and light use only
• Do not rely on it for full production volume yet
• Expect bugs, issues, and changes
• Report anything that is broken, unclear, or not working correctly

Major Changes in LiveScan V2 BETA

• FP_BETA folder is now the default location for all files during BETA
  • To use legacy customers in V2, copy those customer folders into FP_BETA
  • New Customers will be acquired into FP_BETA
    • New Customers are not backwards compatible to below version 1.9.0
• New user interface
• Faster fingerprint processing with slaps only
• National Gun Trust added as a Trust Provider
• Updated client folder structure
• Miscellaneous bug fixes, better error handling, and reporting improvements

The goal this week is simple: test it, push it a little, and tell us what breaks. That feedback will help us clean up issues and finalize the production release.

If you find bugs or run into problems, report them as soon as possible so we can review and address them quickly.
